About

January 25th, 2009

My name is Garfield Hamilton, C.E.O of RewardFlow.com. I have 20 years of software development experience, but I also have a passion for helping local communities. My development history begain on an old Amiga 3000 while working my way through college . I finally managed to complete dual degrees in Computer Science & Electrical Engineering at Duke University, then went on to work at IBM for a few years before they moved the entire facility to Texas.  Being in sunny South Florida was too much to pass up so I joined a small business startup, then started my own company Asset Foundry, Inc., in 1999.

I’ve always been focused on the needs of small businesses, since they tend to have few resources yet need tools to help them become more efficient. We developed a Telecom CRM platform called PowerToolsCRM, which automates the sales processes for complex telecom sales(http://www.powertoolscrm.com). This is now used by the top selling AT&T solution providers who have contacted over 800,000 businesses and acquired over 20,000 customers through this platform in 2008.

Now with RewardFlow.com we are looking to help Small Businesses find low cost ways to reduce their local advertising expenses, reach new customers, and help their local communities. This isn’t just capitalism for me. I’ve worked in our local community since my high school days, tutoring, running tutorial programs, speaking, working on school board committes and working with local non profits. Many times volunteers would come and go, and I would work with students alone as many in the community have done. We’ve always yearned for greater business involvement as a way of providing much needed resources to schools and communities as well as giving students a view of the “real world”.

We think RewardFlow.com can help in that quest by incentivising volunteering at the local level and rewarding participation in local causes through discounted services provided by businesses to program participants. Many small businesses are cash strapped and cannot donate money, however they can donate time, food, or services.

We hope that the initial partnerships between causes and businesses will develop into a long term partnerships when the economy improves, resulting in increased investment in local communities and a larger customer base for local businesses. We all want a win/win.. lets see what happens!
